Jeff Romanowski learned to feel mycelium beneath his feet as a boy. He spent the rest of his life finding the same network inside the human body.

The forest came first. The body came later. The intelligence was always the same.

Something in you already knows how to let go.
The work is in surrendering to it.

A neuromuscular method that releases what the body has been holding — through breath, pressure, and the courage to surrender.

Not a treatment for a condition.
A return to yourself.

WHAT IT IS

The Romanowski Method works by applying conscious breathing and precise pressure to fascial tissue related to the flow of the session. At those points of tension, something happens that no amount of talking can reach: the nervous system remembers, and — when you surrender to the process — releases.

What is released is not always what you expected to be carrying. Patterns that have shaped how you move, decide, react, and feel. Memories stored not in the mind but in the tissue — in other words, how you were molded and shaped in life.

THE THREE ELEMENTS

Breath
The primary tool.
Used to move through resistance rather than around it.

Pressure
Precise and sustained pressure applied to fascial tissue, releasing what the body hasn't felt safe enough to let go.

Surrender
What makes release possible. Trusting the process and the
body's own intelligence.

“ People that are able to go into the breath, to go beyond control, to let go of something… they feel empty. They feel light.”

— Jeff Romanowski

Before

Tension you have learned to live with. A low hum of anxiety or exhaustion. The feeling of being caught in a pattern you can see but cannot seem to leave.

After

Lightness. Clarity. A presence that does not require effort. Many people describe walking out feeling like themselves — but sharper, quieter, more at home in their own body.

WHO IT’S FOR

The method meets you where you are.

Some people arrive carrying something they can name — chronic pain, anxiety, a pattern they keep repeating. Others arrive with something harder to describe: a vague heaviness, a sense of distance from themselves, a life that works on the outside but feels contracted on the inside.

Many arrive simply because someone they trust told them about a session they received. And something in them said: I want that.

You do not need to be in a crisis. You do not need a diagnosis. You need only a genuine curiosity about what it feels like to inhabit your body more fully.

The method may be particularly useful for:

  • Feeling stuck in patterns that repeat

  • Difficulty making decisions or moving forward

  • A desire for more presence

  • Simple curiosity about what is possible

  • Chronic tension and physical pain

  • Anxiety, depression, or panic

  • Emotional heaviness that is difficult to name

  • "During the session I felt myself growing physically — as if unrolling. It has been almost a week since the session and I still feel changes happening in me."

    — Marcos Brasileiro Madeira

  • "The main thing was — and I hope it continues to be — that I returned to feeling myself. Feeling again things I hadn't felt for a long time."

    — Cristina Christiano, writer and translator

  • "When I left the second session, words were insufficient to describe what I was experiencing. But now I think I found the right word: Sacred."

    — Camila Furquim, actress

  • "It was as if I were releasing an emotional pattern embedded in my body and spirit. The session gave me both the release and the trust I needed. It was liberating."

    — Valdirene Gomes, sociologist

Over 30 years. Multiple countries. One method.

PRESENCE

Developed by Jeff Romanowski from over three decades of practice and observation, the method is taught and applied by trained practitioners across Brazil, Europe, and the United States.
